Your baby’s comfort and safety are at the heart of every session.
As a fully insured photographer with specialised newborn photography training and over 9 years of experience photographing new arrivals, you can relax knowing your little one is in safe, experienced and caring hands throughout your session.
I live in Farnham, Surrey with my Husband Adam and our two girls.
I am very lucky to have a job I love capturing family memories in and around the Surrey and Hampshire area.

At Home Newborn Baby Photo Session FAQs
Will You Come to Our Home for a Newborn Session?
Yes!
I will bring everything with me to your house we will need for your session and just need a small space to set up.
I can advise you of the best spots in your house when I arrive and can look at the light.
The sitting room is usually a good space and then if baby needs feeding then you are most comfortable.
The other good space is usually your bedroom but don’t tidy up, it’s only me! Just clear your bed and we can take some fab family images there with you altogether and also little one on their own.
What do we need for our newborn baby session in our own home?
If you have any special toys or blankets please have them to hand as they are great to include in your photos. They make great thanks you cards.
As you are at your own home you will have everything to hand. Just a cup of tea, milk no sugar for me!
Sibling photos, can we get them together?
Absolutely! We must include Big Sister or Brother.
I usually play this by ear and go with the flow, but by the end of the session we would have got them, don’t worry.
Can we have a photo of all of us together?
Of course!
Family photos are an important part of the session.
Your bedroom is often a good location – no need to tidy up, just clear the bed (see below) , and we’ll create beautiful family portraits.
Can we include our dog?
Absolutely!
They are often my clients’ first baby so of course we must include them.
Where will the best photos be taken?
I will have a look at the lighting and guide you to the best spots in your home when I arrive.
Whether it’s the sitting room, bedroom, or another well-lit area, I’ll make sure we capture stunning images of your little one and your family.

When Should I Book My Newborn Session?
Most of my clients book just after their 20-week scan to guarantee their place. I only photograph a few newborns each week to ensure the best possible service to my clients.
What do we wear for our newborn session?

What Happens Once I’ve Booked?
Your due date will be added to my diary and will keep in touch over the next few months.
When your due date is nearing I will send you a message to say hi.
When little one arrives please let me know and we can make plans for me to come to your home for your newborn session, ideally during 5-21 days as babies are all still curled up and sleepy at this stage.
If you would like a weekend date, please let me know as these get filled up quickly.
Has Your Baby Already Arrived?
Don’t worry, I sometimes have space in the diary due to overdue babies, so do get in touch just in case.
A note to Mums & Dads…….
I do encourage you Mum & Dad to be in the photographs too, as they are really are little just this once.

Most of my bookings come from recommendations from my lovely clients-thank you! I photographed a whole NCT group of 6 families as their babies arrived then again when they had their second babies a few years later.
