How To Take Your Children’s Photos

Find a plain white wall in your house

Preferably near a window with natural light

Stand your child a little away from the wall to prevent shadows behind them

Photograph as close as you can

Tap on your screen on the eyes to make sure it is in focus
Shadows & How To Avoid Them
The advice on uploading your own image says have no shadows on you or behind so you. You can avoid this by asking someone to hold up a white sheet or card to the side to reflect the light and this will stop this from causing shadows.
How To Take Your Baby’s Photos

Use a plain white sheet and lay and smooth out on a bed or sofa

Place your baby in the middle and photograph from above

Photograph as close as you can

Tap on your screen on the eyes to make sure it is in focus

Children under 6 do not have to be looking directly at the camera or have a plain expression.

Children under one do not have to have their eyes open
