Top 3 Baby Shops To Visit In Farnham
Today, more than ever a lot of us are making an effort to shop and support local businesses. So here are the Top 3 Baby Stores To Visit In Farnham.
Farnham offers easy access to those larger towns such as Guildford, Reading and Basingstoke. But heading further afield with little ones in pushchairs and prams can prove tricky with sleep and naps times.
With that in mind, here are the top 3 baby shops to visit in Farnham:
1. The Lion And The Bear
24 Lion & Lamb Yard, Farnham, GU9 7LL
A new shop opening in Lion & Lamb Yard on Friday 7th May 2021. They currently sell online so get down after the 7th May ’21 and pay them a visit. They are planning a Summertime launch also.
They say “We will always stock ethically produced children’s toys, clothes, and accessories and have placed ourselves at a children’s level to design our seasons for awakening the imagination and taking your beloved little ones on an amazing adventure.”
18 Downing Street, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7PB
Saturday: 10am-4pm Sunday: Closed
Situated in Farnham Town Centre this store are independent retailers of beautiful baby carriers, bright, organic and sustainable kids’ clothes, fair-trade toys and gorgeous reusable and handmade items in the heart of Farnham. Super friendly staff too.
West Surrey Slings are situated here also for an in-store sling fitting service for you and your baby.
3.Little Bears Attic
Lucy certainly has a fantastic eye for sourcing unique clothing and toys for your little ones. Rosie and I visited her store last year in between the lockdowns and Rosie wanted to fill her basket with lots of goodies when we went.
Lucy of Little Bears Attic says “I take the a lot of time researching and considering the brands and products I bring to market. My range is unique and I try to offer something that you won’t get anywhere else. As a mum of 3 I only bring products that I would have had and still would use and I try to not overwhelm my store with the items I bring. I work in seasons and I think this helps me and my customers to focus on the present with their children or to give that lovely, unique gift for a new mum or new baby in the world.
Lucy currently has her store online now after finding that the community on Instagram for small businesses and particularly for women-led businesses is incredible, I felt more a part of a ‘team’ on this platform than I ever did in the store.
Read the blog on “Dreaming of a Sweet Shop” that Lucy kindly wrote for me.
As a Farnham Newborn Photographer with my girlies off to school I miss those days of taking them shopping mid-week with a pushchair around the shops!
I hope this has helped you choose some new shops for you, your baby and your little ones to visit now we are able to get back out there.
Lots of love
